On the tuesday of our 3rd week here both me and Ada had a day off so we decided to go out and meet up with one of the german students from the school. He got out of school at 4 so me and Ada decided to go out earlier to go see inside the Köln cathedral. The church was almost even more amazing inside than outside. There were so many incredible details on all the walls and windows and the church was filled with candles, it was beautiful.

After seeing the church and shopping around a little we met with the german student Ilker. We shopped around and ate with him, it was raining so much that day that invited him to come check out our appartment. We hung out at our appartment until around eight and then walked him to the train station so he could go back home. It was a really nice day despite the bad weather!

15.11

On wednesday I arrived early at work to help fill up all the paint bottles again, other than that the workday went the same as usual.

16.11

On thursday i had another work day. My work didn't start until 3pm so i decided to go thrifting before work. I went to a few thrifstores, but a standout was a thrifstore called vintage revivals. I found a really nice red corset for only 17€. After thrifting i went to work. The first 3 hours of the day went by like any other. I again made coffee, organized the paints, helped customers and cleaned out old paint off ceramics. On thursday they also had another ladies night and i stayed longer at work because of that. I have a project i'm doing for school at the workplace. I have a tea pot that i painted and i asked all the customers at the ladies night to write their favouroite word in german on the teapot so i could paint the words on the ceramic teapot and burn it. The ladies night was a lot of fun and lasted until 10pm, but i left a bit after 8.

17.11 

On friday my work started at 3pm, but i didn't have time to do anything before work because i had to go pick up our laundry from the other students. I arrived at work and did the same as usual again, i've gotten very used to what i need to do at work already and know how to do everything without being asked to do so. On this day i also finally remembered to take the fazer blue chocolates i took from finland to the workplace and everyone absoulutely loved them. I came back to the appartment to paint the teapot.

18.11

On Saturday my work strarted earlier than usual, because we had to switch out all the new labels to the bottles. That took us about an hour and then it was time for customers to arrive again. I did many chores around the cafe like organizing the brushes, cleaning out shelfs and watering the plants. I also did my usual of making drinks and washing ceramics. I have taken all the orders at the cafe for multiple days now and have yet to meet anyone who doesn't speak any english which has been very suprising to me. It was raining a lot like usual...
