On the friday we went to visit the Goldenberg europakolleg. They were having a "future day"on that day which is a day where the school opens their doors to potential new students.
The school had prepared different kind of workshops you could try out at the school. They also had a cafe set up where they were selling drinks and snacks. We tried 3 different workshops on that day. One was an escape room set up in a classroom. You had to do tasks to get codes to open locks. The second workshop was a logo design workshop. You had to design a logo with the help of a form you had to fill. The 3rd workshop (and the most fun in my opinion) was a woekshop where you could paint a small tote back with whatever design i wanted. I of course chose to do a refrence to my favourite show: Our flag means death.
Everyone at thr school was really nice and helpful and i got to know some of the students better.

On Saturday it was the student who i'm staying with Ada's birthday so we had to do something special. We had bought a cake and the ingredients to make crepes for breakfast so we did that and also ate some cake. We then left to go shopping. It was very busy on that day, but i managed to find mysef a really cute skirt.
After shopping we went to eat at a chinese restaurant called Drachen City. The place was completely packed and it took us almost 15 minutes to even get seated. It was worth it tho, because the food was great and the employees were super nice.
After eating we left to go check out Köln's museum night. It's an event where 51 museums open their doors to visitors from 7pm to 2am. You could get into all the museums with just 1 ticket.
We only had enough time to go see 2 museums, before we were too tired to walk more. Both of the musseums were huge and took a few hours to walk trough and see everything in.
The first museum we visited was called the Wallraf richartz museum. It's an art museum with artworks from the middle aged to the early 1900's. The museum had a DJ downstairs playing music as well as a bar where you could get drinks. The museum itself was really cool. The oldest peaces in the museum were from the 1300's. There was a lot of amazing old religious art, but also some modern art.
We stayed at the museum until a bit before midnight. We were really tired and went to out appartment to keep celebrating the birthday.

A very slow day. We haven't had a single off day since we got to Köln and were in desperate need of one. We stayed in doing school work for most of the day and only went out to go check out our work place's for the next week so we could find them.

Monday of the second week living in Köln. Ada had work on this day where as i still had an off day. Since i had the entire day for myself i decided to do some shopping. I walked around Köln visiting stores and did find a really nice dress i ended up buying for myself. The weather was really nice on that day and it was nice and slow at the downtown area. Not too crowded. After Ada got out from work we went grocery shopping and after that went back to the appartment to make ourselves dinner.

Me and Ada both had a day off on Tuesday so we decided to go visit the Lindentharen Tierpark. It was a lovely animal park with free entry. They had all kinds of different farm animals. The second we walked in a big group of big geese came toward us. We bought the animals some food from a vending machine where you could get a cup full of food for the animals for one euro. There were sheep who were brave enough to eat from our hands. There were also chickens, turkeys, big fluffy cows, donkeys, deer and best of all: Goats!! Goats have always been my favourite animal and there were so many at the park. I spent many euros just feeding the cute little (and really big) goats. They were all so friendly aside from trying to fight eachother for food.
We ate some snacks at the park and after a few hours of petting and feeding the animals went to take a walk in the surrounding park. The weather was beautiful and there were a lot of dogs out to play in the park.
